WHAT IS WEALTH ACADEMY ALL ABOUT?

It is a program that's supposed to teach you how to make money by using the affiliate marketing model.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate Marketing is the process where you earn commissions by recommending products or services via your website.

Let's say that you have a website that talks about drones. If someone is interested in buying a particular drone, he or she will turn to Google for more information.

How to Build Your Own Worpress website

Since your website 'specializes in drones' and offers quality content, Google trusts your site and ranks your site favorably.

That 'someone' ends up visiting your site. They are impressed with the information you've supplied on a particular drone.

Now they are at the point where they are ready to buy.

They simply click on your affiliate link, (that you will have embedded within your article). This link takes them to the affiliate merchant that you have partnered with(let's say that it's Amazon).

Upon a successful sale, Amazon in turn pays you a commission for referring a customer to them.

That in a nutshell, is how affiliate marketing works.

Affiliate marketing is a legit way of making money online. I personally use it as my sole source of earning online. (Read more here).

The main question is, does Wealth Academy really offer you the best training to become an affiliate marketer?

Let's dive into the member's area and find out, shall we?

THE WEALTH ACADEMY TRAINING - OUTDATED AND INCOMPLETE

The initial cost to join the Wealth Academy is $24.95. There are two additional upsells that are optional.

Wealth Academy review, what is wealth academy all about

At first sight, the member's area looks quite impressive. One would think that it is worth the asking price.

However, upon closer inspection, things are not what they seem to be.

To start off, one of the offers is for a free 'commission site.'

Why I think that Wealth Academy is a scam

The truth is, the 'creators' of Wealth Academy want you to take out the hosting package for this 'free site.' The hosting company they recommend you join is, Cool Handle.

Wealth Academy is probably affiliated with Cool Handle, and should you sign up, Wealth Academy in turn gets a commission from Cool Handle.

Apparently this commission site that you would get, is worth $1,997.

This strikes me as being pretty odd. Why would anyone give you a free site that's worth close to 2K?

If that were really the case, then I personally would take the site and not bother with any of the training?

Wouldn't you?

Wealthy Academy Amazon Training

The section that covers the training on Amazon is decent. It gives one a basic introduction into getting acquainted with Amazon. If you are new to affiliate marketing, you might find this information helpful.

I personally feel that certain sections deserve more attention. An example would be, the section on writing content for one's website.

As an affiliate marketer, I learned that the key to success lies in writing quality and helpful content for your website.

Writing unique content and using SEO guidelines is a powerful way of getting your articles to rank on page one of Google. This means getting organic traffic for free! Trust me when I say nothing is more awesome than getting free and targeted traffic to your offers.

I feel that a few pages worth of PDF's is not sufficient enough to cover these essential fundamentals.

Instead, majority of the training is focused on using Social Media as a traffic source.

Using platforms such as,

Wealthy Academy Training is outdated

Here are two limitations with adopting this training approach.

LIMITATION ONE: SOCIAL MEDIA ARE AWARE AND RESTRICT 'LINK DROPPING'

To promote your 'Amazon Niche Website,' one must have a fair amount of content. It's not a case of simply dropping your link on Facebook and then hoping that someone will click and buy.

These days people want information and they want help. They will not buy if they cannot trust you, especially if you're just dropping links all over the place. They want to visit a site that shows moreteaches more or helps more. Hence the phrase, 'Content is King'. To top it all, Social Media platforms change their algorithms regularly. They penalize folks who just spam with links.

LIMITIATION TWO: TRAINING IS OUTDATED

The world of internet marketing is dynamic. What may work with social media today is considered obsolete the next month or 6 months later!

One needs to have the latest and up to date training,if one were to succeed in building an online business.

This is where I believe that the teachings of Wealth Academy falls short.

Wealth Academy training is outdated

Would you like to learn old information? Of course not!

Learning from training that was last updated five years ago can have two negative impacts on your business.

The first, is that you will end up wasting precious time implementing strategies that may not work. And the second, is that you could be harming the growth of your business, as some of the tactics may be forbidden or prohibited.

The training is only in one format, that of PDF's. I personally find it boring and monotonous. There are no live webinars or video tutorials to make the subject matter more interesting and fun, unlike this affiliate marketing teaching platform.

The support channels are not impressive. Apart from a single e-mail address, there is no live chat or community forum where one could reach out in times of distress.

You are left doing things all by yourself.

DOES WEALTH ACADEMY REALLY WORK?

The fact is, there are no real testimonials, and no real proof that Wealth Academy actually works!

Bottom line: You will learn to build a business based on training material that is not only outdated, but shows no evidence of producing any results.

Wealthy Affiliate review

IS WEALTH ACADEMY A SCAM? LEGIT OPPORTUNITY OR EMPTY PROMISES.

The sales video, like most Clickbank products, are made to work on your emotions and make you feel that 'making money online is going to be easy.' At one point, I recall the narrator stating that he set up his affiliate marketing business in one night and the very next morning he earned his first commission.

This is far from the truth. Affiliate marketing does not work this way. Building a solid online affiliate marketing business is the same as building any other business, both offline and online. It takes time and your effort to make it work.

Do you reckon that Google is going to simply place your website on page one of Google on your first day?

This is why I never like the marketing of most Clickbank products. They tend to give people false hope, who then end up thinking that every other product is mediocre or does not work.

Is Wealth Academy legit? Is Wealth Academy a scam? My answer is Yes and No.

Yes, because they are selling you training that is outdated and incomplete. Focusing on social media is good, but should not be the main focus.

Do not depend soley on social media

Social Media have their own rules and they can change it at anytime without your consent. For instance, did you know that Google plus, are going to be closing their doors? Imagine if you had a huge 'G-plus' following, all of that hard work is out the door.

Wealth Academy should spend more time on teaching one how to build a solid foundation, for one's affiliate marketing business. A business foundation built on quality content and getting organic traffic. You are in charge of your business.

On the other hand, Wealth Academy is not a scam, considering the fact that you can trial their system for 60 days. If you are not happy with it, you can always ask for a refund.

LEARN AFFILIATE MARKETING THE RIGHT WAY

Becoming an Amazon affiliate marketer has some drawbacks. For one, their initial commission structure is low, and they have a short cookie life(this means that when one of your readers visits Amazon, you have a limited life, in which you can earn commissions).

There are thousands of other affiliate merchants that you can join and get better commission structures with. There are thousands of niches to select from as well.

3 Billion Searches a day on the internet

You can learn how to properly tap into this billion dollar industry by having the right training. That means having a teaching platform that will give you the edge.

A teaching platform that:

  • Focuses their training's on every major area including, social media, PPC, SEO, etc
  • Has step-by-step lessons, in multiple formats, including videos, with task allocations, and checklists,
  • An interactive community of thousands of other members to help you along the way,
  • Live webinars, to keep you up to date with the latest,
  • Is free to join, and
  • Has your best interest at heart.

I have been learning about affiliate marketing at this platform called Wealthy Affiliate for the past three years. I would like to invite you to check it out.

It may be what you are looking for or it may not be. You do not have to pay to join and you can remain a free member for as long as you like.

Take a look below and see how it compares to Wealth Academy.

  1. I simply can not believe how many programs of that kind are on the Internet. it is really awesome when you see that you can earn $8000 just in one day but that is impossible. This is only wasting of the money and people should not believe in this. You did a great job showing us that we should stay away from this scam.

  2. Hi Roopesh. Thank you for a refreshingly honest review on Wealth Academy. This is one of the affiliate marketing business’s I became interested in several months ago. Unfortunately I found the only way forward with them was by being willing to pay more money for a huge number of upgrades. I also was unimpressed with the pdf system of learning. There was absolutely no one to talk to if you stumbled on one section of the training. One gets awfully divk of those people that start these programs with the full interview of getting as much money as they possibly can out of you without ever giving to much in return. I’m ready to have a look at the company that you recommend. Jim

  3. Wow they got an ENTIRE Star (and a half)! I guess that is it then avoiding this one like the plague. I think these scams are great for instinct training. After you see enough of them its almost like you start swotting them away without looking, which makes it a bit easier to spot a genuine opportunity when you see it.

I think that anyone serious about online marketing should definitely stay glued to your site to make sure they don’t take the bait and wind up defeated by crafty scammers.

  4. Roopesh I am a big fan of Wealthy Affiliate and wanted to thank you for the review of Wealthy Academy which seems to have a very similar name to the very popular Wealthy Affiliate.

This was a very thorough review of Wealthy Academy who as you have clearly shown is in need of a large update to their training and approach to affiliate marketing. I like the structure of your website and have looked at many of your other reviews.

Keep on reviewing companies and I will keep reading them. It’s always good to know the good from the bad when it comes to online companies.

  5. Amazing! Your discussion of this affiliate marketing training course called Wealth Academy seemed to me to be a bit much. You stated that the website said you would be making money the very next day, I couldn’t believe that, so I had to look and listen for myself.

    Which I did.

Once you enter the site the narrative starts immediately, and eventually it does state that if you create your new website that night there will be money in the account the next day.

The old saying came to mind: “If it seems to good to be true, then it is!”

I went as far as even trying to join up to see how the process went. There must have been a problem because after 5 minutes of waiting the secure site I was re-directed to had not “displayed itself”!

I clicked on your link to Wealthy Affiliate and was presented with a nice screen full of information and there waiting for me was your image with a welcoming message.

I didn’t click any further but I will keep this in my mind for the future.
