Apparently, the Golden Ticket system was an idea that was conceived by one of the co-founders, Shaun Baird.
He was trying to get more customers to his landscaping business. Hence, he turned to the internet to learn about some marketing methods. He stumbled upon a method that boosted his business to such a point, that he was able to make consistent profits of up to $300 per day!
Golden ticket is all about this secret method.
What the initial sales page does make mention of, is that it's got nothing to do with,
- Building a list,
- Creating products,
- Making videos,
- Using paid traffic methods, and
- You do not even have to learn about SEO.
As for getting traffic to this business, they reckon that you do not even have to worry about that!
The Golden Ticket system is designed in such a way, that you can leverage off 'leading global companies' to do the selling for you.
So, what is this brand new way, of making money online?
Can you really make money in as quick as 72 hours?

HOW DOES GOLDEN TICKET REALLY WORK, INSIDE THE MEMBERS AREA
Is Golden Ticket really a new method? Is it a 'twist that's never been seen before'?
In my opinion, the answer is a resounding NO!
Golden Ticket is all about affiliate marketing.
What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate Marketing is a business model that has been around for a while. It's a concept, where you earn commissions as a result of selling other people's products or services via your website.
As an affiliate marketer, you will have to sign up with an affiliate merchant (let's say for instance that it's Amazon- sign up is free by the way).
Let's say that your site is all about drones. You start adding quality content to your website and offer value through your product reviews of the various drone models that are manufactured.
All you need now, is for customers who are looking for more information on a particular drone, to visit your website. On doing so, he or she finds your review helpful. They then advance onto the final step, which is to purchase the product.
They will be prompted to click on your affiliate link, which you will have embedded on your site. This link will take them to Amazon to complete the purchase.
Upon a successful sale, Amazon will in turn pay you a well-deserved commission. That is how affiliate marketing works, and it's my source of earning a passive income online. Read my story and how you can get started here.

Coming back to Golden Ticket, the course consists of mainly video tutorials. All of the videos are conducted by Shaun Baird.

Some of the topics that Shaun covers include:
- Choosing Your Niche,
- Buying a domain name, choosing hosting,
- Switching up name servers,
- Introduction to WordPress,
- Adding Social Buttons to your site,
- Keyword research, and
- Signing up as an Amazon Associate.
Not only does the sales page mislead you into believing that this is a 'brand new method of making money', but it also involves some SEO practice, which is what the founders are not really fond of.
Whilst teaching SEO is a plus in my books, for Golden Ticket, I see certain flaws in their teaching. I will explain to you what I mean in the next section.
Is Golden Ticket a Scam? Is it the best affiliate marketing teaching course for your money?
It's time to end this Golden Ticket review with my verdict.
IS GOLDEN TICKET A SCAM? MY PERSONAL OPINION
The first few words of the introductory training that got my attention from Mr Shaun Baird are these, "it's a long term business opportunity."
And this I can appreciate. At least here in the training, they are not showering you with 'get rich quick lies.'
I can also appreciate the fact that Mr. Baird invested a great deal of his time into this course. For instance, the duration of some of these videos are long. Some of them go up to 45 minutes in length.
At the end of the day, you are still getting a product for your money.
Is it the best way to start affiliate marketing?
In my humble opinion, I think that for a beginner, it's not suitable. Here are my FOUR reasons why I think not.
REASON ONE: SEO TRAINING IS NOT COMPLETE
They did focus on keyword research and that is a crucial component for effective SEO. However, I am not too fond on the keyword research tool that they've used.
It sounded a bit complicated. Mind you, and I think from a newbie's perspective, it can be confusing. There are simpler keyword tools like this one, that would be a better option.
Nevertheless, as far as SEO principles are concerned, they did NOT cover other SEO fundamentals such a meta-tags, internal linking, and meta-description.
REASON TWO : NO TRAINING ON TRAFFIC
Whilst SEO is a great way of building one's online affiliate marketing business, it's not the only way.
They could have taught additional ways that one could use in conjunction with it. These include, using videos, PPC, forums, guest posting, podcasts, social media, etc
REASON THREE: NO STEP-BY-STEP LESSONS
There are no step by step lessons to guide one through on what to do. I think it would be great if the course were broken down into chunks and offered learners a check-list.
In this way, it will give folks a clearer sense of direction.
REASON FOUR: NO INTERACTION
The last thing that you need when building an online business, is not to have anyone to help you out when you are stuck.
In this case, there are no community forums, or other like minded people whom you can reach out to.
I know that when I started with my affiliate marketing business, this awesome teaching platform with it's interactive community, had a huge impact on me and contributed towards my success.
