WHAT IS 5K FORMULA ALL ABOUT?

In the initial sales video, you will hear Matthew say that the 5K Formula has everything that you need to earn $5000.

Apparently, his system has all the funnels, the done for you campaigns, the traffic systems, etc that he has used personally and now it's in your hands to help you earn commissions.

It's safe to say that the 5K Formula has to do with affiliate marketing.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is basically a business model where you earn commissions as a result of bringing the customer and seller(or affiliate merchant) together.

Let's say that you've build a niche website on cat's toys.

How to build a cat niche website

Tower of Track Cat Toy

Say that a visitor wants more information on the 'Tower of Track Cat Toy.' He or she simply types it into Google and they see your product review in the search results or SERP(search engine results page).

They click on the link and end up visiting your site and reading your helpful review, after which they decide to buy the product. They then click on your affiliate link.

This link takes them to Amazon or whichever affiliate merchant you are affiliated with. Upon a successful sale, Amazon will pay you your commission.

That is how affiliate marketing works!

Affiliate marketing is a legit way to make money online. I use it as my primary source of income. Read my story here.

Coming back to 5K Formula, Matthew approaches it in a different way. He gives you some tools to start up an affiliate marketing business.

What are these tools, and do they really work?

Let me answer the first part for you.

HOW DOES THE 5K FORMULA ACTUALLY WORK? THE TOOLS

Inside the 5K Formula the members area

Within the member's area, you will see a couple of 'tabs' on the top to help find your way around. Many of these areas, have an upsell and require of you to pay extra to use their services.

The first is the Quick Start Guide section. This is where they guide you to setting up your autoresponder. Basically, it means that you need to register with an e-mail service provider. The one that they recommend is Get Response.

The point of having this service, is that when people sign up for your initial offer, you can always re-target them with more offers in the future.

NOTE: An e-mail service is a monthly expense.

the 5k formula review how to use their squeeze pages

To promote your offers, there are a bunch of squeeze page templates that you can use. Unfortunately though, many of them are unlocked. You have to pay an additional amount to unlock these as well.

How do you get traffic to the squeeze pages?

There is a video where he mentions using FREE traffic. That method is via building a blog or a niche website which involves writing content and getting it to rank within the search engines.

This is the way that I use, and it definitely works. It does take time though, but when you get free organic traffic, there are literally no limits as to how much you can earn.

I appreciate Matthew mentioning this method. It's a pity though that he does not go into greater detail. This method allows you to tap into that billion dollar market, which has a huge audience. It would have been nice for them to tell you more.

Anyway, I guess that's just the way it goes.

If you would like to learn of a teaching platform that can show you how to do affiliate marketing in this way, I encourage you to click here.

He then makes mention of ''swapping click's'' with other users to generate leads. The rest of the traffic methods that he mentions are paid sources. Methods like using solo ads and buying classified ads.

I believe that if you are a newbie the last two methods can become a challenge, and if you do not know what you are doing you can end up 'burning' your cash.

Just my opinion here.

The 5K Formula teh upsells

From what I gather, there are quite a bit of upsells. Should you go for the other offers, you most likely to end up spending more that just $40.

At the end of the day, it can become a costly affair.

Starting an online affiliate marketing business does not have to be expensive. You can start from as little as a cup of coffee a day!

So, does the 5K Formula actually work? Let me show you.

DOES 5K FORMULA ACTUALLY WORK?

In an attempt to show you that the 5K Formula works, Matthew starts his video by showing you him driving to the bank and withdrawing the money. You then see him flashing the money all over on his car dashboard.

Matthew Neer throws money all over the place

Does it convince me?

Not at all.

Nevertheless, the sales page has a few testimonials and I decided to investigate. I recall having seeing them on another product that I wrote about or maybe I was just going crazy! (lol)

And I was right! It was on a product called Income League. First, here is a screenshot of the testimonials from the 5K Formula page.

The 5K Formula fake testimonials

Testimonials from the 5K Formula

Here are the testimonials from Income League Review.

Income League fake testimonials and income league is a scam

But that's not all. These testimonials were used on two other business promotions as well. Namely Ascension Wealth and Speed Wealth.

Income league is a scam fake testimonials from ascension wealth

From Ascension Wealth

Income league is a scam fake testimonials from Speed Wealth

from Speed Wealth

Are these three fellows the only ones available? Were they Matthew's friends or perhaps actors?

The point, there is no conclusive proof that 5K Formula actually works.

Is there a 5K Formula scam going on? It's time for the verdict.

IS 5K FORMULA A SCAM? MY PERSONAL OPINION

Is 5K Formula a scam? I think that this would depend on the way that you look at it.

If you are a seasoned marketer who enjoys promoting affiliate products, then with the upsells, you make commissions should your customers upgrade.

If you are a newbie who is looking to start a solid affiliate marketing business based on your own niche, passion or hobby, then maybe this system might not deliver on all the levels.

5K Formula is a Clickbank product, and you can always ask for your money back if you are not happy with the product.

  1. Definitely, this 5k formula is not for me because I don’t really buy into programs with upsells. My point is why would you deceive someone to join a program that you claim to provide him with the help he needs to thrive in his business and in the end drain him of the little he has. Not only have I discovered that it’s not worth trying through your review but a vain promise.

I’ve come to love the idea of affiliate marketing but my worry has been how long would it take to make a passive income. Can share with me according to your personal experience?

    • That is a great question that you asked. It’s also one that does not have a straight forward answer.

How long will it take?It depends on the niche you choose, the time you put in , how much of effort you are willing to invest into your business, etc

The one thing that I am certain of, is that ‘hard work always pays off.’

If you have the drive, set some goals and are ready to give it your all, I think that you got an awesome chance of making passive income.

All the best, and let me know if you need help.

  2. Thanks for this informative post. Yes you are this 5k formula is just like other programs or affiliate marketing stuff that promises you that you hit the ground running in money but alas its all lies. The more people register the more the owner becomes richer. Having joined wealthy affiliate have been learning many things that promise greater future. I’m no more going to get carried away with get rich quick piece again. I’m ready to continue my journey of success in WA. So help me God.

  3. This I would say to me it has all abilities to be ascam starting with it’s low ranking that you given then going to upsell and then the paid actors these to me are clear indication that is ascam and should be avoided at all cost . making 5k sounds very promising but jumping inside the 5kfomula you shall be loosing more than you gain.

  4. I couldn’t quite figure out if the 5K Formula is just poorly marketed and overly hyped or whether it has some value to a beginner. After all, $40 is not a large amount of money. Although some people may think so. There is a target market for Done-for-You (DFY) programs. These are people looking for shortcuts or don’t have time to build websites or develop content. So they may be better off using paid traffic methods as well as DFY programs.

  5. I have been hearing about 5K FORMULA, I didn’t believe it’s legit until I saw your review on it, I’ve heard just beneficial things from my companions who uses it for their for affiliate marketing campaign, I must say this is the most detailed of them all, I think I will give it a trial

  6. Hi Roopesh,

Thanks for providing this review of £5k formula, I worry when people claim you can make thousands with an automated system without doing any work!  Another massive red flag to me is when they’re constantly trying to push upsells, that combined with the “fake testimonials” all spells “scam” to me, I think you’ve been a bit polite but to me it’s a scam as they promise an automated system and it certainly isn’t that!

  7. Hi Roopesh! Thank you for reviewing 5K Formula. It certainly has a catchy name, and I believe it’s intended to make potential subscribers daydream about monthly earnings and entice them to sign up.

I personally don’t like all these up sales. And the evidence of this platform using these actors is annoying. I will keep away from this site!
