Do the Nu Skin products really work?
There is never a straight answer to this question. During my research, I came across Nu Skin complaints regarding people experiencing ‘bad reactions.’
On the flipside, folks have testified that Nu skin products actually do work. The official Nu Skin website displays photos of people showing the ‘before’ and ‘after’ results of using the products.
At the end of the day, it all boils down to you and how your body responds to the ingredients contained within these products.
CAN YOU MAKE MONEY WITH THE NU SKIN PRODUCTS?
As far as the Pharmanex products are considered, there is nothing here that we have not seen before.
There are tons of supplements already out there, that claim to help with the conditions mentioned. It’s simply a matter of people’s preference and price.
Coming to the beauty and skincare market, the competition is fierce.
The Nu Skin products are not exactly cheap, and if you are thinking of going into this business, this is an issue that you need to take into account.
Perhaps you can afford the product, but the next person cannot. The second scenario is that even if they have the money, they may already trust a particular brand. You will have to do some convincing here!
I am not saying that you should not join the business. I am merely pointing out the challenge that you can possibly face along the way!
How can you make money with the Nu Skin Business? Let me show you.
THE NU SKIN COMPENSATION PLAN- IS IT UNIQUE?
The unique part unlike other MLM’s is that to become a distributor, it’s free.
As a Nu Skin distributor, you can earn money in 2 ways:
- By buying products at wholesale price and selling at retail,(25% profit) [ METHOD 1], or
- Bonuses which is calculated from your product sales and the overall sales of the distributors in your downline.[METHOD 2].
Method 2, places emphasis on building your downline. According to the website, you have to:
- Teach others to engage and enroll new customers, then you qualify to become a,
- Sales Network Executive(earns bonus from sales in your downline), and you,
- Qualify for Success Trips, then
- Teach Others to become Sales Network Executives, and
- Earn Sales bonuses from your executives.
In other words, recruit, recruit and recruit!
Here is video, that explains the comp.plan in more detail.
THE TRAINING OF NU SKIN- CAN IT HELP YOU WITH YOUR BUSINESS?
During my research, I recall a Nu Skin member saying, ‘ training is one own’s responsibility.’
And if you look below, these sentiments ‘rings’ true. There is not much of Nu Skin business tools except marketing brochures, product cards, and product samples.
IS NU SKIN A PYRAMID SCHEME?- MY FINAL OPINION
The company is well positioned in the growing market of people wanting anti-aging products.
With increasing life expectancies folks desire to look graceful with time.
Is Nu Skin a scam? In all fairness. It’s evident that the company has a decent product portfolio and people have made money from selling them. In my opinion, I do not think that Nu Skin is a scam.
However, there are 2 concerns, that I want to make you aware of. Before you make that final decision of signing, let me run them by you.
- Limited Tools to Grow Your Business
Apart from the marketing product brochures, there is not much else given to you, to teach you how to grow your business.
It’s a given that after you’ve tried the products and see a difference, then the results should bring in some customers. Family and friends would want to know your secret and ultimately buy from you.
But what happens, when you have exhausted the option of speaking to everyone you know?
You then take to social media. There probably are many other distributors doing the same thing. How do you then stand out amongst the crowd?

2. Recruiting is where the main prize lies
The statistics do not favor MLM business models when it comes to making money. Take a look at the table below.
It may not be very clear, but it shows the Average commissions earned by distributors within 2016.
The larger commissions are paid out to distributors who achieved higher ranks. The Diamond Executive rank, (highlighted in red), pays an average of $7, 800 a month!
The Executive Rank pays out $420 a month.
Only 0.18% of distributors reach the Diamond rank, whereas, 5% made the Executive rank.
What does this tell you? That you need to work hard at recruiting, to make your Nu Skin business a success.
Once again, I don’t want to put you off. If recruiting is your thing and you enjoy speaking to people, then, by all means, go for it!
CAN I MAKE MONEY WITHOUT HAVING TO RECRUIT?
Absolutely!
If you feel that the Nu Skin MLM business is not for you, then it’s not the end of the world.
I started an online business three years ago, that does NOT require any RECRUITING.
The main benefits of this type of business model are, that:
- You DO NOT have to Cold Call people,
- You DO NOT have to Recruit,
- You DO NOT have to Buy any products!
In fact, you can build an online business, upon a hobby of yours. Is’nt that cool?
Basically, you get to choose what your business is going to be about.
I learned all of this through an amazing teaching platform that takes one from Beginner Level, all the way through, to the end.
