But before we get started I want to congratulate you for taking the time to research this opportunity. There are many ways in which you can make money by writing online. Some of these methods will utilize lots of your time and will offer very little compensation in return. Whilst with other platforms it's actually worthwhile to join them.
Many folks jump all in, without knowing if the opportunity is really going to be worth their time or not. So once again congratulations to you.

WHAT IS WRITERSCAREER.COM ALL ABOUT?
I thought that initially, the Writers Career homepage was fairly standard in terms of looks and design. It was nothing to really shout about.
For instance their blog section. It was last updated back in 2013. Could this mean that it's just all just a waste of your time?
According to their “about me” section they have been around for 7 years.
They have some customer testimonials as well but it dates back to 2015. So I was not really convinced.
But then something else caught my eye, they have a live chat feature.
Is their live chat helpful?
I was actually quite impressed. They were operational for a Sunday morning. That was awesome.
I tested out this service by inquiring about their service fee charges. I wanted to know what the service fee was per task.
They responded in a timely manner by stating that they could not divulge this info to third parties as it was according to the company's policy.
Fair enough, I respected that and decided to go ahead and sign-up and see what the members’ area is all about.
THE WRITERS CAREER MEMBERS AREA
Upon signing up, I discovered that one is then directed to another freelancing platform which is called Essay Shark.
Are EssayShark.com and WritersCareer.com owned by the same people?
To be honest with you it's hard to say.
I checked out the WHOIS domain information and could not find anything that connects the two.
Nonetheless, let's talk about EssayShark.com.
HOW DOES ESSAYSHARK WORK?
The first thing that caught my attention was the fact that Essay Shark has a more professional look than its predecessor Writers Career.
Their blog is also updated on a regular basis.
EssayShark just like Writers Career aims to connect freelancers with clients. According to their “about me” page they have been in the business for 10 years. The platform also allows both freelancers and clients to rate each other.
HOW CAN YOU JOIN ESSAYSHARK?
To register as a freelance writer with the platform you have to complete a four-step process.
Step 1: Submit your e-mail
Step 2: Fill in your profile
Step 3: Pass a grammar test
Step 4: Write a sample essay
Upon completion of these tasks, you will then be able to place a bid for a particular job that a client has posted.
According to company policy, a service fee will be added to your bid. This is the final fee that will be billed to the client should your bid become a success.
If your bid is successful you can then get started on that particular job. Upon successful completion and meeting all the client’s criteria, you will then get paid.
The client has the option to rate your services rendered. But you too, as a freelancer can also rate the client based on whether or not his instructions were made clear to you from the start.
You can choose from three different payment methods PayPal, Payoneer, or wire transfer.
So far, so good. Does this mean that Essay Shark is legit, or is it a scam?
Let's take a look at the pros and cons of this business opportunity.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT ESSAY SHARK
Their website design and interface is professional and user-friendly.
They have a fair amount of positive testimonials.
The platform makes it easy to view the top writers of the platform. You as a client can easily pick from the best writers without having to spend the time sifting through user profiles.
They have a blog that is updated and informative.

WHAT I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT ESSAY SHARK
You don't know what the final bidding price is.
You can only request payment at certain times.
They have minimum payment withdrawal limits. $20 is for Payoneer. $30 is for PayPal and $100 for wire transfer.
This is NOT a passive income opportunity
IS WRITERSCAREER.COM A SCAM? MY PERSONAL OPINION
In my opinion, I do not think that it's a scam. Initially, it started out as a Writers Career review which eventually lead us to talk about EssayShark.
I think that there is lots of transparency and people are happy with using this platform. I would have liked to see them offer more tools for the freelancer writer. But if you really look at it,these tools such as a Grammar checker could be easily sourced for free just by doing a simple Google search.
I think that as a freelance writer you can give this platform a go. However, on that note, I do believe that starting out to make money will not be a walk in the park.
One of the main reasons for this, is that the site already has its list of the top writers and you as a newcomer may find it a challenge to breakthrough.
The other drawback as a freelancer is that you may need to offer your services at a much lower fee initially so that you can get positive reviews. This will help you to land future job offers.
At this point you may ask yourself, “Is there an alternative way to make money from writing online?”
CAN YOU MAKE MONEY BY WRITING ONLINE? HERE IS A METHOD THAT IS NEWBIE-FRIENDLY
Can you make money from writing online? Absolutely, and you don't need any experience.
I mentioned two drawbacks associated freelancing and I would like to mention two more. With freelancing, you may not always have a guaranteed job.
To me, one of the main drawbacks associated with freelancing is that I do not feel that your writing gets the true recognition that it deserves. I mean you're putting all the time, all the effort and all the energy into writing a piece of material, why not put all that effort into your own online business?
With the business model that I recommend, you do not need any experience to get started.
Your online business is based on something that you are passionate about or something that you enjoy talking about. If you have a particular interest, then there is a very good chance that someone else(in another part of the world) will share the same interest. That means a huge opportunity for you.
You will also have the flexibility to work during your own time.
I think one of the biggest benefits with having an online business, is that you will be able to build an online asset. An asset which in due time will be able to earn you a passive income online.
I have been using this model for the past 5 years. Let me show you how you can get started to making money by writing online. Click here to learn more.
Thanks so much for joining me today on this Writers Career review. I hope that it has helped you out.
Have you ever tried to make money with freelancing before? If so, what was your experience like?
Looking forward to hearing from you. I wish you everything of the best in your online success,
Kind Regards and Do Take Care

I never heard of Essay Shark until now. It seems similar to Fiverr but specifically for writers only. Just curious, when someone submits an order to have a writer write content for them, do you receive multiple bids from different people or are you only getting one bid from that one writer? I really enjoyed your in depth review, thank you for the insightful information!
Usually how it works, is that a client posts a job. Freelancers place a bid for that particular job. Yes, most of the time a client would receive more than one bid. The client then chooses the writer that he or she is happy with.
Thanks for much for stopping by.

Sounds a bit strange to have two different names. You give a good description of this Freelance system. I think it can be difficult for a newbie to earn money quickly. Do you write inside this programme or do you have to buy some extra tools to get started? Just curious. How long time did you use before you started to earn enough to live out of it?
I would assume that most of the writing takes place outside of the platform. As far as I know, they do not offer any tools for a freelance writer.
Hi Roopesh and thank you for an informative review about freelance writing and a some of the alternatives for that kind of freelancing. I must say that from your review a would be reluctant to apply for freelance work at WritersCareer aka Essay Shark. I would have felt a bit “tricked” to be redirected to another domain.
The review is interesting on my part, because i love to write and love to read. So this could be something for me, in between other types of work, but not as a steady income alternative.
You mentioned 4 other freelance writing alternatives, have you checked out any other than those 4 and how do they compare to Essay Shark?
kind regards,
Roy
Hi Roy
That’s awesome that you love to write. Have you checked out my my NR.1 Recommended to Make Money From Writing Online?

Hey nice sincere review you have about writers career there. A lot of thought has been running through my mind either to sign up or not with writers career, going through your article, I now have a clearer picture of the platform. But question that seeks for answers to me is that why is it that the company do not make effort to update their blog section, is it that there was no significant change that affect their operation positively as business progresses ?.
I think that one of the main reasons as why their blog is not updated is because most users would just sign-up as it’s free to do so. That’s where they concentrate on placing most of their efforts.
Hello there! Thank you very much for sharing your view on this site, the last time I came across it, I immediately scrolled to the next page as I was scared of being fooled by these “make money online” scammers. Hello there thanks for this review. It was really helpful. I cant really say if this platform is scam or not because I have not tested it.
