Is PicoWorkers a Scam? [Is This Micro-Job Site Worth Your TIME?]

Welcome to my PicoWorkers review. Are you looking to make money online? Does it sound exciting that you can make money just by testing an app or doing a simple social media task? Then you may be considering joining the PicoWorkers Micro-Jobs Website?

Is Picoworkers a scam or can they really help you to make money online? I joined this platform and I would like to share with you my experience of having used it. It is my hope that this review will make it easier for you to decide whether this will be the right choice or not.

Before we get started I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you. There are many ways in which you can make money online.Sometimes its tough to decide which ones are legit and which ones are downright scams. Unlike other folks, you at least took out the time to first do your research before jumping all in. Well done to you.

You may want to take a look at the method that I have been using to make money online. Simply click on the link that follows to learn more.

WHAT IS ABOUT : A micro-job website offering folks the opportunity to earn by doing quick and simply online gigs.

OVERALL RATING : The pay is extremely small per task. They have a high payment withdrawal limit, and they have high service fee charges.

It is basically a platform that connects freelancers with business owners.

The information on their homepage states that if you are a freelancer you can find work in various areas. Such areas include the testing of websites, data entry, downloading, searching, installing and testing of mobile apps.

Unfortunately, there is not sufficient information as to who the owners of the platform are.

However, on a more positive note, it’s free to sign-up to PicoWorkers.

So let's go ahead and see what the member’s area is all about.

Upon signing up you are immediately rewarded with $0.50 sign-up bonus.

How can You sign-up with Picoworkers

To find jobs on this platform, all you have to do is simply click on the tab that reads “find jobs.

How to find jobs using PicoWorkers

This will then open up a page where you will be able to view all the available jobs. All that is left for you to do, is click on the job that captures your interests.

You might have noticed that most of these opportunities are more task-orientated than jobs. Clicking on any one of these options would then give you more details on what it is required of you to do.

Allow me to show you how it actually works.

For example, the task that I choose has to do with using Facebook. All that I got to do, is simply visit Facebook and like a particular page.

How does PicoWorkers work, you get paid low rates for doing simple tasks

To verify that I have done the job, I would then need to submit proof.

In this case, I would have to supply them the name of the particular page visited as well as the name of my personal Facebook page.

Then its simply a matter of waiting for your account to be credited with the relevant funds.

You can select from either one of two cryptocurrency methods or you can choose PayPal as your payment method.

Picoworkers review, what are the Picoworkers payment methods

You can only have your withdrawal processed once you reach a $5 threshold. In addition, the platform will also charge you a service fee per withdrawal transaction.

They charge 7% on the amount that you are processing as your final withdrawal.

The official Picoworkers website does not have any testimonials. Hence I decided to check out third-party review sites such as Trustpilot.

Are People Happy with using the PicoWorkers website

Just over half the users were happy with using the site.

As for the other half, some of the complaints were from folks who believed that their accounts were closed off for not apparent reason. Other folks were quite dissatisfied as they are still awaiting their payment

So is PicoWorkers a scam or will it be worth your time?

Before I give you my verdict, let's first take a look at the pros and cons of this business opportunity.

It’s free to register with them.

The tasks are relatively simple and easy to do.

They also have an affiliate program. That means that if you promote this website either as a freelancer or a business owner you can earn 5% of your referrals.

The pay is very small for completing these tasks

They have a very high withdrawal limit.

They have high service fee charges.

This is NOT a passive income opportunity.

I personally do not think that PicoWorkers is a scam. However, I will not necessarily recommend this sort of business opportunity. The main reason is that I do not feel that one can make real money with this opportunity.

As you have seen the pay-per-task is extremely low. Unfortunately, that is the common denominator associated with using most micro-jobs websites. Take a look at my reviews of other micro job websites such as Treasure Trooper, SwagPay, and Remotasks.

You will find that they all work in this similar fashion.

At the end of the day, if you do eventually make it to the $5 mark, it is my hope that you do get paid as we have seen that some folks are still awaiting their payment.

And finally, why I also will not recommend this, is because you are putting all of your efforts, your time, and your energy, only to come home with next to nothing.

I think that a more feasible option would be to invest that time, and energy into building one’s own online business.

Let me explain what I mean in the closing section of this article.

Why limit yourself to only testing apps or signing up for low-paying offers when you can make some serious money online?

Did you know that there are thousands of products from which you can earn a commission online?

Did you also know that you can start an online business based on something that you are passionate about or something that you enjoy talking about?

The formula for online success is actually quite simple.

So why not give yourself the opportunity to take things to the next level?

You can use a proven business model(which I have used for over 5 years) where you do not need any experience to get started.

You will be building an online asset. You can work in your free time and most importantly in due course it will afford you the real possibility of earning a passive income online.

It will be my pleasure to help you to get started today. Simply click on the link and I will show you more on how it all works. CLICK HERE NOW.

Thanks so much for joining me on this PicoWorkers review. I hope that it has helped you out.

Have you tried micro-jobs websites before? Do you enjoy it? Have you made a great deal of money from using these sorts of websites?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

I wish you everything of the best in your online success. I hope that our paths will cross soon.

Till then do take care.

  1. I have been trying to make extra income and came across Pico Workers and I just have to find out what is it all about. The “Small gig big income” really drawn me in but I know that I have to do my due diligent so here I am 🙂

I do not like the fact that the owner is unknown, red flag. In my opinion, their payout is too low for my time and there is a 7% fee? that is a rip off.

I do not think that I will join them. Thanks for your amazing detective work.

    • Not a problem at all. I am glad that I could help you out.

Take it easy and wish you everything of the best in your online success.

  2. Hello there thanks for sharing this information with us, it is really of great value. I have heard quite a few about this platform. This platform works by testing websites or apps and other social media works. It is not a pyramid scheme where by you only get paid by referring others. It is a legit way of earning cool cash

  4. Hello there! thank you for sharing this review with me, its extremely helpful. I also do not think this site can actually earn someone real cash as it isn’t easy to gather up reasonable cash with their pay per task system.
I will look out for Treasure Trooper, I just hope it works for me when I try it out.

  5. Thanks for posting this awesome review with us,whilst reading your review i understood that picoworkers is quite an interesting website or platform is quite an interesting one,but one thing i get to understand is the pay is so little although the tasks are easy to do.Although i’m new to affiliate marketing i’d love it if you can give me tips on how to be a good affiliate marketer.thanks and keep up the good work.

    • Hey Wilson

Welcome to your affiliate marketing journey. Thanks for the question.

I think if there is one important tip that I can give you, is do not give up. Yes it is a learning curve, yes, you may have some stumbling blocks, and yes sometimes you may get impatient. But whatever you do, keep going forward.

Ask questions along the way, if you are stuck. Immerse yourself in your business and never stop learning.

I wish you tons of success in your online journey.

      Good Luck
