Note, you are not buying leads with solo ads. It only clicks to your offer. So, there are no guarantees that you would be earning a commission, even if you get a click on your offer.

You can also target a large audience depending on the package that you purchase. It’s also very simple and easy to do.

You have no control over who you are marketing your product or service to. You have no clue as to what the quality of traffic it is that you are buying. You could also end up buying ‘bots’ as traffic instead of real human traffic.

You might get some leads on your first campaign. But it’s not going to be easy to replicate that success. For a simple reason- the marketer may sell you the same list, which has already had exposure. Or you may get a new list that might not convert anyone into a lead.

Selling solo ads to other marketers like you and I is how solo ad vendors make their income. That means that the same list is sold time and time again.
And if you were to imagine that you are on that list as a subscriber, you would probably get tired of being bombarded with offers.
You probably would not even open those e-mails.
This is a source of low-quality traffic, as you would be marketing to a saturated audience.

You can use Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, and even YouTube ads.
When you use these traffic sources, you have one big advantage-control. You can use keywords tools to create your campaigns. That means you can set your target audience. That also means that you can scale your campaigns. If you learn what’s working, then you simply scale that campaign, and you earn more revenue.
Much more control as opposed to that with using Solo Ads, wouldn’t you agree?
Using Free Traffic as a Traffic Source
You also have the option of using free traffic. You can use SEO. This is Search Engine Optimization. Basically, that means creating content that will rank on the first page of Google.

There are a lot of other ways to generate traffic that are much more effective, so I would recommend sticking with those instead.
At the end of the day, it’s all about finding what works and what does not for your business. People will tell you to try this method and then try that method.
My advice is to try one strategy at a time. Give it your full attention and once you know that you have exhausted that option, go on to the next one.
