Is CTFO A Scam? Another CBD MLM Company? Is It Worth Your Time?

Changing the Future Outcome(or CTFO), is an MLM company that has a vested interest within the CBD-oil industry. Is CTFO a Scam or should you invest your efforts into this business?

I am sure that through either the media, family or friends, you may have come across Cannabinoid containing products. With legalization of cannabis taking place in 50 States within the US as well as globally, it only makes sense for companies to venture into this territory.

I have reviewed one such company called HempWorxIs CTFO better than Hempworx? Not to disappoint, but this post is not going to be a comparison between different CBD companies. Sure, I might talk a bit about the prices of competitor's oils, but that's it.

Instead, I want to share my research with you on how CTFO works, and what is expected of you, should you decide to join. Are CTFO products really worth it? What are the challenges, if any, should you become a CTFO associate?

It is my hope that this CTFO review will help answer all your questions, so that you can make an informed decision.

THE CTFO PRODUCTS- ARE THEY REALLY WORTH IT?

The company boasts an extensive portfolio of both CBD(cannabidiol) containing products as well as non-CBD containing products.

Before I get into the nitty-gritty stuff of exploring the CTFO products, let me quickly give you a rundown of what CBD oil is all about.

What is Cannabidiol?

This is a product of the Marijuana plant. According to Wikipedia,it is one of at least "113 cannabinoids identified in hemp plants."

What is cbd oil?

Whilst THC (or Tetrahydrocannabinol), is the principal psychoactive constituent of cannabis, CBD contains only trace amounts of THC, and does not 'alter your state', or cause 'adverse side effects,' and it won't get you high or anything of that sort.

Products that contain this Cannabidiol(CBD) oil are said to have 'nerve protecting' and 'brain enhancing properties. There are YouTube videos, published journals, and other sources that have reported the use of CBD oil to treat conditions such as

  • Epilepsy,
  • Cancer,
  • Migraines,
  • Depression,
  • Arthritis,
  • Anxiety, etc

Does CTFO products contain THC?

According to the CTFO website, the CBD within their products is made from,

  • NON-GMO,
  • PESTICIDE FREE,
  • CO2 EXTRACTED hemp oil.

They state that their products are organic and made in a facility that complies with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). They also state that they do not test their products on animals.

They offer two variations when it comes to the products that contain CBD.

  • Full Spectrum (Whole Plant) Hemp Oil
  • CBD Isolate (Extract) Oil.

Basically, the full spectrum variation contains less than 0.3% of THC, as well as other cannabinoids. CBD isolate on the other hand, does not contain any THC parts.

I've managed to find some results that showed that they have 0% THC within their 300mg Pure Hemp Oil.

The tests were conducted by 3rd party labs, called Evio Labs. You can check it out here.

As for the product range, it spans across four main categories. They are,

  • CTFO Health Products,
  • CTFO Anti-Aging Products,
  • CTFO Nutrition Products, and
  • CTFO Pet Products.

I've listed a couple of products from each category. If you would like to learn more about them, you can check out the official CTFO website.

I've got to admit that personally I find their extensive product range pretty interesting. The big question is, do CTFO products really work?

Coming from the health field, and being a pharmacist by profession, I believe that natural therapies do have a significant role like the medicinal or conventional products.

To be honest with you, I believe that our bodies have the intrinsic ability to heal itself. If we can focus on eating healthy, exercising, eliminating stress as much as we possibly can, and keeping things simple, then we can do our bodies a great service. (I know, that it's easier said than done, LOL).

Anyway, coming back to the CTFO products, do they really work?

My answer- the only way that you will really know, is if you give it a try. What may work for you, may not necessarily work for me.

And most importantly, do not let anyone pressure you into buying them. Many times folks will tell you that these kind of products heal this condition and does wonders for that ache and so forth.

Just a reminder, that these products are not endorsed or evaluated by the FDA(Food and Drug Administration).

In the next section, I will show you some customer feedback.

CTFO CUSTOMER COMPLIANTS-HOW BAD IS IT?

In the ideal world everything, well almost everything goes well and according to plan. Unfortunately though, we are not living in the ideal world.

Having said that, you are going to get customers that are happy and those that are not with every company.

With regards to CTFO, I came across 7 customer reviews on record at the Better Business Bureau website.

They were all in the positive.

CTFO Customer complaints

On another site, PissedConsumer, there was one long negative review. It was unresolved at the time of writing this review.

If any CTFO associate is reading this review, perhaps you can help with this. gentleman out with his complaint.

CTFO Review, IS CTFO a scam

Let's say that you decide to try the oils out, are they any cheaper than the competitor's?

Let me show you.

ARE THE CTFO  PRODUCTS EXPENSIVE?

I took the liberty of checking out the prices of other CBD competitors, to get an idea whether or not the CTFO products are reasonably priced.

CTFO CBD price comparison are CTFO PRODUCTS EXPENSIVE

If one were to take the price of the 750mg strength of two other competitors, CTFO's full spectrum sells at $69.97. (Competitors are $40 and $67 respectively).

Then with regards to the 500mg strength, CTFO'S price is $69.97 (Competitors are $54 and $59 respectively).

Note: These prices are customer discounted prices. So, if you were to become a distributor, then the prices are slightly higher.

Bottom line:The prices are average. What is interesting is that many of these companies, are not MLM's.

In other words, for an MLM company with accompanying overheads to offer these kind of prices, is not a bad thing.

I've read somewhere that the owners do not take home executive salaries. Hence, they are able to pass these savings onto the customer. If that is true, then that's two good things in a row.

What about the money side of things? How can one go about making money with CTFO?

Coming up next....

HOW CAN YOU MAKE MONEY WITH CTFO- THE CTFO COMPENSATION PLAN

One aspect that I find a challenge with, is trying to understand a particular MLM's compensation plan.

Most of the times, it's complicated and somewhere along the line you get lost, and then you say to yourself, "I'll worry about that stage, when I get there..."

At first when I read 'FREE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY,' on their website, I thought that it was a typo.

This is one of the few times that an MLM has introduced this sort of structure within their pay plan. Naturally, my curiosity got the better of me.

This is what they are referring to....

You can join CTFO for free. When you sign up, you are automatically an associate and as such, you are eligible for a 20% payout of the Commission Volume of the products that are sold. (Each product has a specific Commission Volume(CV) Assigned to them). This means that you as an associate do not have to make any obligatory purchase requirements to get paid.

There are 4 ways in which you as a CTFO associate can get paid,

  • Retail Profit
  • Unilevel Pay
  • Regenerating Matrix(With copyrighted profit sharing positions)
  • Infinity Bonus (And Top Gun Pool)

RETAIL PROFIT

As a CTFO associate, you are given a free CTFO website. You get to buy any product at the wholesale price. You can then sell them at retail price to family and friends. This is your retail profit.

According to CTFO, you can make up to 30% on every sale that you make.

UNILEVEL PAY

This is the commission that you receive from your downline. You earn from the folks that you directly sponsor.

In addition, you earn from the folks that your downline sponsors, as well as from the folks that your sponsor's downline enrolls. They state that it goes five levels deep.

Basically, you earn 20% on the Commission Volume from all Unilevel 1 sales. Then from Unilevel, 2-5, you earn 4% on all the sales.

This is their qualifying requirements for each level.

The CTFO compensation plan

REGENERATING MATRIX PAY(with Copyrighted Profit Sharing Positions)

They have a '3 by 3' Matrix Pay system. You occupy a position within the CTFO matrix.

Each position can occupy a maximum of 3 positions on the Matrix Level directly beneath it.

For instance, Matrix Level one has 3 positions. Each of these 3 positions can occupy a further 3 on Matrix Level Two. Therefore Matrix Level Two occupies 9 positions. Apply this same principle, Matrix Level 3 occupies 27 positions and so forth.

What is the purpose of this system?

Once your Matrix Level gets filled up with the relevant number of positions, the next person you enroll, is 'automatically' placed within the uppermost post position.

And the point of this is, that the business is 'forced' to grow downward. Which means that one can receive a 'spillover' from the members that are within your upline.

According to their website, "This is how you can receive team growth and increased income from your upline building their business and helping you in the process."

There is a maximum of  21 Matrix Levels allocated to an associate.

The payout, 1% on Matrix Levels(1-5), 1% on Matrix Level(8-21) and 10% on Matrix Level(8-21)

This video does a better job than I at explaining the Profit Sharing Positions associated with this Regeneration Matrix Pay system.

INFINITY BONUS PAY POOL(And TOP GUN BONUS POOL)

As you build your downline, you're naturally going to ascend in rank positions with the company. If you can get within the top 7 CTFO Ranks, then you can unlock the Infinity Bonus Pay pool payout.

You earn a percentage of the Total Team CV. The percentage depends on which rank you are in within the business.

CTFO infinity Bonus pool

If you happen to achieve the Top Gun rank, not only do you qualify for the Infinity Bonus Pay, but you also get to earn the Top Gun Pool Bonus.

This is 6% of the Entire Companies CV

That sounds "sweeeeeet", doesn't it?

So, is joining CTFO really going to be worth your while?

I have a few concerns, which I will share with you in the next section.

IS CTFO A SCAM? KNOW THESE 3 THREE THINGS BEFORE YOU SIGN UP!

The company boasts a decent product line. The owner's take a keen interest. The testimonials are generally positive. Is CTFO a scam? In my opinion, I do not think so.

Should you join CTFO? Here are my 3 considerations, before you sign up.

1. ARE YOU READY TO MARKET DIFFERENTLY?

CTFO FaceBook Marketing

If you have come across CTFO via social platforms such as FaceBook, then you will know that there is a lot of competition out there.

Competition is a good thing, and if you are able to stand out, then you can have a higher reach. This is why I believe that success in CTFO will be dependent on one's ability to market differently.

Are you prepared to learn how to market yourself and your business in more ways and not only via the traditional posting on Social Media?

Here is a post that I've written, that involves using a program to help you stand out among the crowd.

2. CBD OIL IS TRENDING- It Is A GOOD THING, BUT.....

CBD IS TRENDING WITH GOOGLE TRENDS

A quick search on Google Trends shows that interest in CBD and CBD oils is not on the decline.

Whilst this is a good thing, it also means that it can be challenging. Challenging in a sense that folks now have many more options, in terms of which company to buy from.

As I've mentioned earlier, many reputable companies are not MLM-based and sometimes folks prefer to simply buy and not get involved in the business side of things. Furthermore, people are already loyal to a specific brand and that can make it a bit tough for you.

Not to turn you off, or stop you from joining CTFO. This is something that I think you should consider.

3. CTFO IS NOT A GLOBAL BUSINESS

Unfortunately, this MLM business is not open to the whole world. At the time of writing this post, the company only accepts registrations within 8 countries, namely United States, Canada, England,Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Sweden.

CTFO is not a global business

There you have it. If these three considerations do not bother you at all, then perhaps you can give CTFO a try.

CONCLUSION: IS MLM A SCAM?

I personally do not think that all MLM's are a scam. If you were to view the other articles that I've written, then you will see that many of them are reviews about MLM's that turned out to be legit.

In fact, I endorse one MLM company, called THE AIM COMPANIES. I love their products, but do not actively engage in the business side of things. You can read my review of The Aim Companies here.

So, how do I make money online? I do not like recruiting and buying products and having to set up an autoship like some companies require. Instead, I make money from using a business model called Affiliate Marketing.

With affiliate marketing, you do not need to recruit to earn, or cold-call, or buy products. You can build an online business, around a passion or a hobby. This awesome platform taught me how, 3 years ago.

Just as with legit MLM'S and a traditional brick and mortar businesses, affiliate marketing takes time and effort to make it a success, as you cannot build a successful passive income stream overnight.

If you are interested in learning to make money this way, then allow me the opportunity to guide you. Click the link below to get started.

Thanks so much for joining me on this CTFO Review.

You have been an absolute star.

Have you tried CBD oils before? Was your experience good, or not?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards and Take Care

  1. I don’t really know much about CTFO and whether they’re legit or not , but this article has opened my eyes and now I know what to expect if and when I do decide to start that adventure. But I saw your Affiliate marketing post and that really intrigued me. I have just subscribed to wealthy Affiliates and it looks very promising. Anyway, thanks for this amazing review.

  2. I’ve read your review on HempWorx but I’m still a little unsure which one to go for. Is there any chance you could give a review comparing the two? Pros and cons n’ such… I’m glad that CTFO offers CBD pet products. Could you give me a little insight on what CBD does for animals exactly? What I’m thinking is maybe they help with relaxation and anxiety maybe? I know household animals get anxiety from things people may not notice. Thanks for pumpin’ out great content!
