Hi there and welcome to my Global Internet Fortunes review. Are you thinking of becoming a GIF(Global Internet Fortunes) member?
You probably may have been approached by a friend or a family member, and are wanting to know if GIF is worth it. I know that it may not always be easy to say no to someone who wants to help, but it's the right thing to do the necessary research beforehand.
At the end of the day, it's all about you. You need to feel that it's the right decision. Is Global Internet Fortunes a scam?
Let me help you to decide.
NAME OF COMPANY: Global Internet Fortunes
OWNER : Unknown
OVERALL RATING :
GLOBAL INTERNET FORTUNES-NO OWNER, REBRANDING??
My guard always goes up when I have to start digging up information on who the owners/CEO's are of a business opportunity.
Information like this should be readily available and the company should have as much transparency as possible. I believe that it offers a sense of trust and makes one feel more at ease.
Let's face it, at the end of the day, you are going to part from your hard earned money. You would not want to give your money to a stranger or a 'ghost.'
Anyway GIF does not make it clear enough as to who they really are.
They have a contact address, which is based in Nairobi(Kenya), but not much else.I found out that Global Internet Fortunes is a rebrand of a former venture called SocialBizConnect.
The other red flag that stands out, are the number of years of business operation.
The website claims that the company has been in existence since 2012, when in actual fact the domain name for Global Internet Fortunes was registered only last year in May. The exact date being the 31-05-2017
The mission behind the company is to eradicate unemployment by providing an opportunity using a 'MLM-type' structure to help uplift people's lives.
Now that we have an idea of the companies origins, let's see what the products are all about.
ARE GLOBAL INTERNET FORTUNES PRODUCTS REALLY WORTH IT? SOME ‘CRAZY’ AND ‘UNNECESSARY’ UPSELLS AND CHARGES- WATCH OUT
GIF focuses their business around website related products.
Some of their core products include,
- Selling domain names,
- Web hosting, and
- Email marketing products.
I think that the member's area looks a bit plain in design. There is not much training or video tutorials to guide one on.
Of the four main links, only one of them works. I was looking forward to checking out what the e-learning and e-books section were all about. Unfortunately, I had no luck.
The one and only 'workable' link takes you to a page that markets their hosting plan. This recommended hosting would set you back $35 monthly with an initial $10 set-up fee.
I think that this is a crazy offering. For one, they are not offering much else within their package. Essentials such SSL Certification, DDOS protection, Full site recovery process or even daily back-ups of your sites.
They also made mention that within the $55 monthly plan, they offer one a WordPress blog.
WordPress blogs must be hosted on high quality servers and should they cram your site along with other sites(on the same servers) that are not of WordPress origin, your site can suffer from malware and downtimes. (read more about the best hosting for wordpress here)
What is more of a surprise, is the fact that should you register a .com, .net, domain, you will have to pay an additional $40 for the first month.
Purchasing a domain name will be an additional $15 or so. So, overall you roughly looking at a $120 initial start-up fee with an ongoing monthly hosting fee.
Coupled with these charges, there are no solid educational or training material to help steer one in the right direction.
Is this really the best way to get started with an online business?
What do you think?
Now, let's learn more about their compensation plan.
THE GLOBAL INTERNET FORTUNES COMPENSATION PLAN- HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH GIF?
The compensation plan is not as straightforward. However, I will do my best to explain it to you.
You have the free membership option. Should you sign up a new paying referral, you will earn a $5 commission.
From what I gather, is that should you sign up a new paying referral, whilst you yourself have taken out the $55 monthly subscription, you will earn a $20 commission for the first month only.
Thereafter you earn $5 on all customer subscription renewals. In addition, you can $5 up to 5 levels down.
I can understand the $20 commission part, but the part that does not make sense, is that you only get $5 from month two onwards!
In my opinion, if that is how the compensation plan really works, then it's a raw deal. You make $50 for the company, and they only give you $5.
What does it sound like to you?
Is there a Global Income Fortunes scam going on here?
IS GLOBAL INTERNET FORTUNES A SCAM?MY PERSONAL OPINION
What is Global Internet Fortunes all about?
To summarize, you make money by getting friends or family to take up GIF subscription packages. As you have seen, these products do not really offer any substantial value.
Even if one were to buy into the packages, there is no training or step-by-step tutorials on building an online business, like this teaching platform.
From my experience as an affiliate marketer, the auto responder service and e-mail marketing stuff comes only later, when one has built a site that has got traction with Google. It's not necessary in the beginning stages.(Read more on how to get started here).
You are not going to be promoting a product that will be of much benefit. If its only about the $5 commissions, then I believe that this business is not worth it.
My Verdict: I recommend that one should stay away from this one.
GLOBAL INTERNET FORTUNES IS RIGHT ABOUT SOMETHING.....
And that is 'owning your own blog/website or online business system' is the way to go!
These days economies are changing, people are loosing their jobs, expenses are increasing, and physical stores are closing down.
People are turning to the internet for information and buying online. Having an online business whether its full time or part time, can help you get a share of this 3 billion market.
The essential 'ingredient' for success, is to have the right tools, training and support to help you to get started.
When I started 3 years ago, I knew nothing about online business and today, I am earning money online, (Read my story here) and its all thanks to this awesome teaching platform.
I learned to build a business that steers clear of recruiting, cold-calling, or having to buy products on a monthly basis.
However, it does take time and hard work to become a success. It can provide you with an opportunity to build a solid passive income business if you are willing to give it a shot. Click the link below to learn more.
Thanks so much for joining me on this Global Internet Fortunes review.
I hope that it has helped you out.
Should you have any questions or comments, please leave them below, and I promise to get back to you as soon as I can.
Kind Regards and Take Care

Hello, kindly don’t compare GIF and Aim Global. They are two different things. The idea of paying $35 for a 2GB hosting is a fallacious lie. We deal with hosting and blogging, and this is provided with a space of 50 GB.GIF is a limited company and is incorporated in Kenya. We do not talk of the owners but a group of people who came up with this idea. Research your article well before you mislead the World. I do not know much about Aim global because I do not know what they do really to earn their money. They ain’t realistic, they fake their lifestyle. We should be realistic. They even claim to be top 10 network marketing. GIF started recently and am not taking the same route to claim we are among the top.Because we will reach there,we have no doubt since I can feel the intensity of the online work.
Hi there. I have not made mention or made any comparison of Aim Global to Global Internet Fortunes my review. I see that some of the products have changed since I last wrote this review.
You mentioned that you offer a 50Gb hosting for $15 per month. I also noticed that you charge people a $30 set-up fee.
