OVERVIEW OF THE NIKKEN BUSINESS
Thinking of becoming a Nikken consultant? Ready to join the MLM(multi-level marketing world)? Is Nikken the right business for you? Welcome to my Nikken review.
Nikken has got a fairly decent product range. The company has a long-standing history in the MLM-game. However, before you go ahead and sign up, there are some aspects within their business model that are worth checking out.
You are doing the research and that is always a good thing. At the end of the day, it's about you and what suits you and I would like to help make your business decision easier. So, let's get started!
NAME OF COMPANY : NIKKEN MLM
WHAT IS IT ABOUT: A network marketing company that features products that are focused on the health and wellness industry. Some of their popular product lines include magnetic patented technology.
WHO IS IT FOR: If you are the individual who is looking at building the business side of things, then having a sales and marketing background can be advantageous.

DO NIKKEN PRODUCTS REALLY WORK?
I've got to admit, there is quite a comprehensive product range within the Nikken Catalogue.
They have their wellness and personal care products. The wellness range consists of Nikken Vitamin supplements such as Joint and Calcium products, Probiotics, Detoxifiers and so forth. Within the personal care range you have Shower Gels, Nutritional Masks, Eye Serums and Refreshing Tonic lotions.
The other product categories include,
- Wellness Water Packs and Filters
- Sleep Products
- Nikken jewelry
- Magnetic Support
- Support Wraps
It was interesting to see, that some of the products are embedded with magnetic technology. Like the Insoles, MagDuo(massage balls), and Kenko MagFlex back support.
Check this video out, to see how they work.
Do Nikken Products really work?
Nikken claims that a product such as the Kenko Magduo has "non-invasive massage nodules that stimulate and relaxes muscles." Apparently it helps to "ease tension and relieve stress."
These kind of statements are on majority of their products. Do they really do what they say?
In my opinion, I believe that it's a personal thing. During my research I came across some Nikken customer complaints. These customers found no benefit from using the insoles. Some of them had difficulty getting refunds. In fact, you can read more about these stories here.
On the flip side, you get a fair amount of positive testimonials on YouTube.
The point is, it may work for you or it may not.The only way to know, is to try it out for yourself.
The take-away from this section is,
- The products are pricey(in my opinion)
- These products are not FDA-approved
NIKKEN COMPENSATION PLAN- HOW DOES NIKKEN WORK?
Nikken allows you to make money using two ways:
The first is by selling the products. You get the products at wholesale price and sell them at retail. The difference is what you can bag as your profits. Across the board, most of the profit margins are around 20%. So, that's not pretty bad.
The second way on how you can earn the bigger paychecks, is ultimately through recruiting. In other words, focusing on the building of your down line.
Unlike other MLM companies, Nikken do not reveal much detail about their compensation on their website . Sadly, I could not find an updated official YouTube video either.
I guess that perhaps they want you to sign up as a consultant first, before you can get access to this sort of information.
Nevertheless, I found a member's video that outlines the Nikken compensation plan. Check it out below.
In a nutshell, you are paid on the volume of everyone that you refer and everyone that they refer.
For instance, when you sign up initially as a Nikken Business consultant, you will enter in as a 'DIRECT' member. Naturally, you would not have accumulated any QPPV(Qualifying Personal Points Volume) or QPGPV(Qualifying Personal Group Points Volume).
However, as you start building your downline and your referrals start making purchases and building their downline, you can advance to higher rankings.
The SILVER rank will pay you 20% rebates on PCV(Personal Commission Volume) and PGCV(Personal Group Commission Volume). You would however, have to meet their criteria of maintaining 100QPPV and reach 6000 QPGPV within 3 months, to qualify for this payment.
Thereafter from the SILVER ranks going forward, you will reach the breakaway level and can earn 6% Leadership Bonuses on additional levels.
These levels are as follows,
- DIAMOND and,
- ROYAL DIAMOND
There are other additional bonuses and incentives as you build your business, such as,
- Entrepreneur's Club
- Lifestyle Bonus
- Home Program
- Nikken Reward Dollars
CAN YOU MAKE MONEY WITH NIKKEN MLM?
There is this statement that comes to mind when one talks about Multi-Level Marketing businesses. It goes something like this, "99% of people fail at MLM."
Is this really true and if so, why is it so? Well, for one to be a success at MLM, one must focus at building one's downline.
In the Nikken video above, one of the first things that they mention, is that you should,"duplicate yourself " to make your business a success.
What does this mean?
It means that you have to teach the people within your down line, to buy the product, test the product, talk about the product, and then get 'others' to buy the product. Eventually, if or when they are happy with the product, you invite them to join the business.
The problem is that we are humans. We are not robots. Everyone is unique and different. You may have good marketing skills, but I may not. This is why I believe that one cannot simply be "duplicated." And this is why MLM models fail.
Speaking of training, what sort of training do you get when you sign up as a Nikken Consultant? When you sign up to become an Independent Nikken Consultant (cost is $99), you will get a PWP (Personal Website Page).
As for the training side of things, there is not much else on offer. Check out what is stated on their official income disclosure.
We observe that the majority of superior performance rely upon the individual's skill, training, effective business-building techniques and good old-fashioned hard work.
The latest annual income statistics that were available are those from the year 2016.Take a look below.
The part that I've highlighted shows you that majority of the income earners were within the lower rankings of the company. More SILVER member's than DIAMOND or ROYAL DIAMOND.
In other words, the recruiter's on the highest levels who earn the bigger paycheck's, were fewer in amount.
What does this all mean?
Does it mean that you should not join Nikken? No it does not!
It means that people can make money from Nikken, providing that they have a good sales and marketing experience.
If you do, then this may the right opportunity for you!
Is Nikken a pyramid scheme or a scam? Allow me to tell what I like and don't like about Nikken before I give you my verdict.
TIRED OF THE RECRUITING BUSINESS?
MAKE MONEY ONLINE FROM HOME WITHOUT HAVING TO RECRUIT
THE POSITIVE SIDE OF NIKKEN MLM
I like the fact that Nikken has got a good comprehensive product range.
The company has got a decent reputation and has been in existence for a while.
THE NEGATIVE SIDE OF NIKKEN MLM
The products may not be affordable for everyone.
You can only operate your business in 15 countries.
You are limited in terms of business exposure. They supply you with a generic website. The problem is that if you take to advertising on social media platforms, you may be in competition with other Nikken consultants as well. Unless, they show you how to build your own customized website, you are not really going to be standing out amongst the crowd and attracting prospects.
To earn the bigger paychecks you need to recruit and build your downline. Different strokes for different folks. Recruiting may not be your strong point.
I honestly sucked at it when I tried my hand at a famous MLM group. This is why I use a legit business model called affiliate marketing that earns me passive income without having to recruit.
You Do Not Have To Recruit To Earn Money!
IS NIKKEN A SCAM? MY PERSONAL OPINION
When you join, you are still getting something in return. It's not like some business platforms like this one, where member's are merely investing into a "money pool" and promised huge returns for recruiting new members.
Therefore, I do not think that Nikken is a scam.
Is it the best opportunity for you? I believe that if you want to make a business work and have it make money for you, you need to believe in your product and not just sell for the sake of wanting to make money.
Coming back to Nikken, if you want to make it work, you need to test the product and be involved, and believe in it.Then you have to be prepared to go out and recruit to build your downline.
Are you ready for that? If you are, then you know what to do!
WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO RECRUIT TO MAKE MONEY? IS THAT POSSIBLE?
Recruiting may not be for everyone. You can earn money from the comfort of your armchair. I can show you the way that I did it.

Thank you very much for this honest and helpful review. I think that it is very important to avoid scams when it comes to looking into things like this. It’s such a shame that people can’t just be honest, but we have got to do what it takes to protect ourselves against such things as these. It’s a good thing what you’re doing and I hope people won’t fall for such scams.
I have never been a fan of any MLM and thank you for taking the time to point out another one that you are probably never going to go anywhere with. An MLM in my opinion is a scam unless you are a really great sales person with a fantastic sales pitch I do not see many people making money with them.
It is a shame that MLMs rely on high prices and recruiting to enable distributors to earn money.
If the products were really good and the prices were good, the products would sell and the need for recruitment would be lower.
It is strange to me that this model seems to function at all in this day and age when affiliate marketing is possible without recruiting.
Thanks for highlighting the pros and cons.
I see you have had direct experience of an MLM, me too. It is difficult once you get past your family and friends, to find new people.
