WHO OWNS ROYAL PRESTIGE?
Royal Prestige is owned by Hy Cite Enterprises, LLC. They have a physical address which is located in Middleton.
The current acting CEO is Erik S. Johnson.
The company started in 1959. Back then a college student by the name of Peter O’ Johnson and a partner started a distributorship for another company. It involved products that consisted of an 18 and 22-piece set of cookware. The company reached it’s first $1,000,000 by selling 4000 sets of cookware across certain parts of the U.S
Eventually, in 1971 the company launched its own set of cookware, which we come to know as Royal Prestige.
Fast forward to the ’80s the company grew from 20 full-time employees to over 800. They now have 10 corporate offices located in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Paris, and Argentina.
According to the official website, Hy Cite has a network of 5,000 Independent Authorized Distributors and Joint Ventures in 20 countries who serve over 600,000 customers.
The company does have a BBB(Better Business Bureau) Rating. Their rating leaves much to be desired as you will see soon enough.
For now, let me show you what the products are all about.
THE ROYAL PRESTIGE PRODUCTS- ARE THEY REALLY THAT UNIQUE?
The main flagship line is their high-end cookware products that are NOT coated with Teflon.
Teflon is usually a safe compound. However, when it is exposed to high temperatures, Teflon coatings on non-stick cookware can start to break down.
They call this process ‘flaking,’ and it can cause the release of chemicals into the air.
So coming back to the Royal Prestige products their pots are equipped with a “deluxe easy release skillet," which allows food to easily slide off the surface. It also uses less oil and can cook multiple food dishes without adding fat.
The Innove Royal Prestige waterless system is a 10-piece family cooking system. You do not necessarily have to purchase all the products. You choose to buy specific pots like the stockpot or paella.
In addition to just pots, they also sell juicers, cutlery, tableware, water filtration systems, and other accessories as well.
HOW MUCH DOES THE ROYAL PRESTIGE PRODUCTS COSTS?
I found it a challenge when it came to finding out what the exact prices of these products were. The official site does not disclose any prices to the general public. I guess that you first have to sign-up as a distributor to access this sort of information.
Nevertheless, I saw that the 5-piece INNOVE is going for $995.96 on eBay.
It is also worth noting that as far as some of the products are concerned, the company did have its fair share of product recalls. These were on some of the lines that were bought back in 2004 and 2012.
The unfortunate part about investing in these pots, is that you have a very limited timeframe in which to decide if you are happy or not with your purchase.
According to the companies terms and conditions, you only have 3 business days as your ‘cooling-off period.’
Many folks cited this as a common complaint on the BBB website.
Just to keep your options open, Amazon for instance does offer a professional cookware systems at a cheaper price. And if you really search, you can find some that comes with a lifetime warranty.
Now let’s talk about the companies business opportunity.
THE ROYAL PRESTIGE MLM BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY- CAN YOU REALLY MAKE MONEY WITH ROYAL PRESTIGE?
To get started you first need to register as a Royal Prestige distributor.
Once again the site does not disclose what the joining fees are. From my experience of having reviewed various MLM businesses such as Juice Plus, Hempworx, Aim Companies, I believe that one would need to purchase a business kit to get started.
What about the Royal Prestige compensation plan? No info was available on the website as well.
Does this mean that Royal Prestige is a scam?
Before I share my verdict, let’s take a look at what the customer’s experiences were.
THE ROYAL PRESTIGE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS- IS THERE ANYTHING GOOD TO SAY?
Its a bit confusing if you were to take a closer look the BBB-ratings of Hy Cite Enterprises.
On the one hand, they scored an A+ rating and on the other hand the average customer review is only a 1-STAR.
At the time of writing this review, there were 52 Hy Cite reviews of which only 2 were positive. The rest were all 1-star reviews.
What were all the Royal Prestige complaints about?
Customer complaints ranged over various issues. These were some of the main ones :
- Not honoring refunds
- Bad customer service
- Poor quality pots and pans
- Products were overpriced
- Feeling violated when the company checked customers credit report rating without their knowledge
- Unaccounted for credit card charges
- Ridiculous finance plan(apparently customers were charged 25% interest rate)
So, is Royal Prestige MLM a scam? It’s time for the verdict.
IS ROYAL PRESTIGE A SCAM? MY PERSONAL OPINION
If you are thinking of making money by selling the Royal Prestige products, then first consider these 3 points.
POINT ONE: Products Can Be Bought From Other Sites.
As I have proved earlier on, some Royal Prestige products can be bought from 3rd party sites. This means that these products are NOT always exclusive to the official site.
This can make your business more challenging.
POINT TWO: 3 Day Cooling Off is Not Enough
If you are were to invest a substantial amount of money to purchase pots, you would want enough time to make sure that you are 100% happy, right?
3-days is just not enough time.As you have seen this makes unhappy customers. Would you want to join a business that leaves an endless trail of unhappy customers?
POINT THREE: No Income Disclosure
An income disclosure report can give you a bird’s eye view of how existing distributors are performing within the company. It can show you what percentage of members are receiving the bigger paychecks (usually a small %) and what percentage are earning the smaller paychecks(usually the majority of members.)
This is typical of most MLM models. You need to focus on recruiting. That is where the bigger paychecks lie. Recruiting may not be everyone’s cup of tea.
So there you have it. If these three points do not phase you, then go ahead and give the Royal Prestige business a go.
YOU CAN CREATE A PASSIVE INCOME- YOU DO NOT NEED TO RECRUIT TO DO IT
5 years ago I learned on how to get started with the building of my own online business. I came from the health field and was a complete newbie when I first started.
I learned how to create a passive income online without having to recruit anyone. I learned how to build a business based on my interest.
It would be my pleasure to help you to get started within the online world. If you want to be guided step-by-step to learn how to create a passive income, let me show you how here.

Hey Roopesh, great review.
The problem with MLM companies is that you have to constantly recruit people in order to make money. And Royal prestige is one of them.
$995 is overpriced ! there’re better and cheaper out there.
Now I understand why they they don’t even mention the price on their site.
Anyway I’m not into MLM stuff. That’s a waste of time
Cheers
Mlm businesses generally have a very low tendency for making profits and the fact that they always have something hidden up their sleeves is the reason I always try to avoid lal these kind of mlm companies. Though you have pointed out the highs and lows of this royal prestige mlm company here, I feel it is not convincing enough for me to dive into them. So, I will just pass on this. Thanks
Thanks so much for sharing your opinion about MLM’s. And thanks so much for stopping by.
Really appreciate it.
