Is RapidWorkers a Scam?[Legit MicroJobs Website or Waste of Time?

Welcome to my Rapidworkers review. Are you looking to making money by doing some easy micro jobs? Then you may be considering joining the Rapidworkers website. Is Rapidworkers a scam, or will it be really worth your while to join this website?

I signed up with Rapidworkers just to see what it's all about. Is it easy to make money online with them, or will it be a waste of your precious time? Let me share my experience so that it can help you to make an informed decision on what to do.

Before we go further, you might want to take a look at my NR.1 Recommendation to make money online. It's the very method that I have been using for the past five years to earn a consistent online income.

WHAT IS RAPIDWORKERS ALL ABOUT?

Rapidworkers is a 'micro-jobs' website. It's very much similar to other sites such as Online MicroJobs and Paidera.

The main idea of the Rapidworkers website , is to connect two parties, namely employers and workers.

Employers are the ones who will be using the platform to help increase the brand awareness of their company. The main advantage of using a site like Rapidworkers, is that they can get brand exposure without having to pay hefty marketing costs that are usually associated with the traditional ways of advertising.

As an employer, you get to choose the countries in which you want your website or business to be targeted. Rapidworkers gives employers the opportunity to assign various tasks in which the workers can interact with their brand.

And that brings me to the Workers. As a Rapidworker worker, you have the opportunity to make money by completing these tasks set forward by the employer.

Before I show you the money earning potential, let's see if we can learn more about the owners.

WHO ARE THE OWNERS OF RAPIDWORKERS?

Unfortunately, there is no owner information on record for this site. There are no e-mail addresses or contact numbers as well. In fact, the only way in which you can get into touch with them is via the submitting of a support ticket.

UPDATE 2021 : I learned that Rapidworkers is part of UnikScripts, INC.

Who are the owners of rapidworkers

As for social media, they have a FaceBook business page. It was last updated in December 2019. I could not find any traces of the owner or founder's information here as well.

HOW DOES RAPIDWORKERS WORK?

It's free to sign-up with Rapidworkers.

Once you have successfully verified your e-mail, you can then access the dashboard area which looks like this.

How does rapidworkers work

To get started, you would have to click on the "available jobs," tab. This would bring up a list of tasks from which you can then select to do.

The one thing that you need to bear in mind is that you will only be paid for performing tasks that are catered to the country in which you are staying. In fact, I read one of the member's comments on Facebook that your account will be banned should you select tasks to do outside of your countries origin.

So, the easiest solution is to use their filter and select "international." That way you get to see the tasks that you can do without getting into any trouble.

How to select international jobs in rapidworkers

Next to these jobs, you will see the amount of money that you can potentially earn to complete a task as well as the duration for each task.

There are various different tasks that you can do. These include doing things such as :

  • Signing up to websites
  • Creating g-mail accounts
  • Watching and sharing YouTube videos
  • Writing sports predictions
  • Liking other people's Facebook pages
  • Downloading PDF's books

However, do note that in addition to just completing the tasks, you will need to supply proof to the employer that you have in fact completed the task at hand.

I decided to try out a task. It was to download a PDF book. I had to complete two offers to unlock the download. Once the book was downloaded, I had to submit proof.

The Rapidworkers task that I cHOSE

But here is the catch, the two offers that I had to complete were subscription offers.

In other words, I had to pay to download the book.

Completing a rapidworkers offer is costly

I chose not to commence with the task. I did not want my cellphone bill to go sky high.

I tried another task, and that was to register on another site. Unfortunately, it was flagged by my anti-virus software. Hence I did not go far here as well.

I also learned that the amount of jobs or tasks that you are assigned is largely dependent on your location. For instance, folks from the United States, Canada, New Zealand, UK, and Australia stand better chances of getting gigs as opposed to other countries.

And one of the main reasons for this, could be due to client or employer's preferences. They may only want their brand to be exposed to audiences from certain countries.

And as a South African blogger, I have noticed even survey sites such as Quest Mindshare and American Consumer Opinion who offer limited tasks outside the above-mentioned countries.

And that's why I took to signing up with this business teaching platform to earn myself a passive income online.

So is Rapidworkers a scam? Let's take a took at the pros and cons of this business opportunity first.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT RAPIDWORKERS

It's free to sign-up to.

They have lots of available tasks.

You get a $1 sign-up bonus

WHAT I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT RAPIDWORKERS

They have a very high payment withdrawal limit. You can only have your payment processed once you reach the $8 limit.

It takes them 8 days to have your payment processed.

Not all of the micro-tasks might be available in your country.

No owner transparency.

No payment proof on their website.

No testimonials on their website.

This is NOT a passive-income opportunity.

IS RAPIDWORKERS A SCAM? MY PERSONAL OPINION

It would be nice if the site had proof of earnings or testimonials to showcase that members are indeed earning with Rapidworkers.

Since nothing is available on their site or the Facebook page for that matter, I took to researching 3rd party review sites.

There were a total of 32 reviews and Rapidworkers scored an average of 3 out of 5 stars. This was on the Trustpilot review site.

rapidworkers trustpilot review

Some of these folks claim it a total waste of time, whilst others claimed that they have in fact received an $8 payout.

In my personal opinion, I found it to be an unproductive experience. Had I went ahead and done those two offers, it would cost me way more than how much that tasks actually paid me.

The pay for that particular task was $1.11. I do not believe that it was a worthwhile opportunity.

Perhaps, you might have better luck with the tasks. I guess that it might depend on the country that you are staying in.

Bottom Line : With Rapidworkers, the potential to make big money is very very low. You are not going to make money that will be significant or life-changing.

Secondly, it's not an opportunity where you can have a viable business on your hands. Or one with a sustainable income.

You have to be an active earner. Once you stop working you stop earning.

Check out the differences between Active Income vs Passive Income here.

So, if these two issues do not bother you then perhaps you can give Rapidworkers a go.

If on the other hand, you are looking to making real money online with passive income potential, then read further on.

PUT YOUR TIME AND EFFORT INTO BETTER USE- BUILD YOURSELF AN ONLINE BUSINESS

Building an online business offers you some really cool benefits. You will have access to a worldwide market. You can work from the comfort of your home.

You can build it whilst you have other commitments such as a full-time job. You can also choose the topic or subject around which your business will be built around.

But to me the best benefit of having an online business, is that it is an online asset. Capable of providing one with a passive income.

That means that you can earn recurring income.

However, it also means that you need to invest in learning the skills to built this sort of business.

I would be happy to show you the online teaching platform that helped me to get started with my business.

They can help you to get started with your online journey as well. In fact, 2 million members cannot be wrong. See how this business teaching platform that has been around for 15 years can help you.

Thanks for joining me on this Rapidworkers review.

I hope that it has given you a clearer picture of how they work, and what is required of you to make money with them.

I promise to get back to you.

  1. The review on this article is interesting, is it litgit  or scam? For me it’s hard to say, but like any other Passive Income website, you have to understand it before getting involve.

I cannot honestly rate this to my best, because I am not acquainted with this program. Seeing that the commission would not be to my sanctification I would not want to join.

  2. On your marks get set……Go and everyone is running for the hills to get away from this scam. They make money from you completing the micrtasks for them. . Then they don’t pay you because the minimum payout is too low. I hope people see though this and vulnerable people see that small pop-up for wealthy affiliates. I nearly missed it as I ran for the hills. Luckily I saw it. Wealthy Affiliates is the best online opportunity out there. Second to none.

  3. Rapid workers seem like a good website to me but now seeing all this information you gave about them and I just have to say that I am beginning to have my doubts about it. It doesn’t seem good that they haven’t updated their Facebook and there’s no details about the owners too.

  6. credibility is one thing that every platform like this should have but then this is not enough as the efficiency is also in question. the fact that rapid workers is genuine does not mean that it can serve the purpose that i want. the turn up is too slow for me. thank you very much

  8. Evidential is the fact that this rapidworker is not a good fit for anybody to join. The fact that it actually offers a lot of insights to getting started with lots of things. But the fact that the workplace is really shitty and the cons of this is way too much than to be ignored. So, I just prefer to move off.

  9. Hi Roopesh,

Another wonderful review. Thank you. We have a few of these kinds of businesses in Australia and some are really good. Airtasker is one and we have used it often.

It is well established now and trustworthy.

I always worry about companies that have no ownership and payment transparency. That screams scam to me. They may be ok but they need to be more open with their dealings.

I really appreciate your reviews. This one is a big no from me haha!

    All the best my friend,

    Kev
