Is Survey Say a Scam? Maybe Not, But It’s Not Exactly A MoneyMaker. Here’s Why?

Your inbox may be flooded with lots of ‘make money online’ offers. Amongst that rubble, you might have come across Survey Say and asked yourself, “Is Survey Say a Scam?”

Before I go any further I want to confess something to you. I am not a fan of jobs related to ‘taking a survey’. The famous line, ‘ Once bitten twice shy’ applies to me, whenever it comes to deciding whether these types of opportunities deserve a thumbs up or not.

I feel an uneasiness, primarily because of my experience. After having spent a significant amount of my time on one particular platform, I later realized that it was not worth my while. I felt cheated to the point that I vowed not to blindly trust every survey company I came across thereafter.

Is Survey Say a legit opportunity? Let me show you what I uncovered so that you can decide if this is the right business opportunity for you.

EXACTLY WHAT IS SURVEY SAY ALL ABOUT?

What is the survey say all about

Before you get all excited and think that it will be easy peasy, as they say, “Join Now…Share….Get Paid,” prepare yourself for a surprise.

You are not going to be getting a survey to answer within minutes of registering, and that means that you are not going to be getting paid anytime soon.

Let me save you some time, and show you what is REALLY going to happen.

If you are interested, go ahead and give your e-mail addy and date of birth.

After your mini assignment, low and behold, this is the main ‘modus operandi’ of Survey Say.

is survey say a scam

Survey Say screened me and matched me up with other survey companies.

This is my main reason for not entirely labeling Survey Say as a scam. It’s because I have previously had the opportunity of testing out some of these platforms listed. The ones that I tried are legit.

For the record though, I made measly amounts on them, as the qualifying surveys came in dribs and drabs.

The main point that I want to bring across here, is the intention behind Survey Say. Frankly speaking, I think that its misleading to have people believe that you will be earning money in a few short steps, whereas, in reality, it is further from the truth.

And what is the deal with requesting our e-mail address and other information? Will they be selling your information to other 3rd parties, or is it to send you more offers, that you don’t really need?

ARE YOU SAYING THAT ALL SURVEY SITES ARE A WASTE OF TIME?

When member’s request for me to review survey companies, my excitement does not exactly go through the roof.

Rarely do these sites, have a fair amount of offers in order for someone to make a decent enough wage. For one, many of these platforms have high payment withdrawal limits.

This means that you need to reach an amount of $20 or some other stipulated amount, for them to release your money, Imagine if a survey job pays you $0.50. How long do you reckon it will take before you finally reach that level of $20?

The one site that I would recommend to you would be something like Paidviewpoint.

Even TreasureTroopers are okay. However, the money you make is not going to set you on a course to earn a passive income potential like this home-based business platform.

As for the other sites that I tried, many ended up wasting my precious time by screening me for 10-15 minutes, only to disappoint me by refusing me the qualifying survey. Most of the time, it is the qualifying surveys that pay you the ‘bigger’ monies.

And from my experience, the bigger money is a lovely $.50. Isn’t that fun?

The amount of surveys you get is also heavily based on demographics or the country you reside in. This means, that ONLY if they need you, will they ask for you. Ultimately, it is not a regular source of income.

In closing this section, I want to warn you first hand of a company I reviewed a while back called ‘Take Surveys for Cash by John White.’ Stay away from these guys!

Now, do you see why I have such a dislike to these survey opportunities?

  1. Hello! I feel the same way about survey sites… what a waste of time for so little money. I’m glad you offer an alternative, an actual business idea that would work. I would rather take my time building something useful, like a website, that would pay me more later. There is no ‘long-term’ with a survey site. Thank you for this article, it’s very helpful!

Thank you very much for your comment.

Yes, if you invest the same amount of energy and time, into building your own home based business, then at the end of the day, you would have something that is more longer lasting and pays you higher dividends.

You do however, need to put in some of your hard work But, that’s when the rewards will be so much more sweeter.

Glad that you found the article helpful.

  2. The problem with surveys, even though most sites are legit and do pay, is they are very time consuming for the amount of reward you receive in return. Plus, you can often be screened out of surveys after spending time answering all these qualifying question.

I’ve been looking for a better survey site, but they’re all pretty much the same deal. It sounds like Survey Say is just a portal to other survey platforms.

    • Hi Darren

I agree with you 100%, the amount of time that you invest, does not really make it worthwhile for the little that you earn when doing these survey jobs. There are definitely better ways to make money online.

Wish you all the best in your online success.

      Kind Regards
